Came back here about a week later and either the food is very inconsistent or quality took a dive real quick. Proceed with caution.

Unfortunately never made it to Celsius, but I suspect a lot of the grandeur of this space was inherited from it. Walking along the corridors to the stark and monochromatic toilets, I can’t imagine that the previous tenants would have stored their cartons of drinks haphazardly as Gyoza Gyoza have. Nevermind, it’s still an impressive space that is modern, casual and now, tastefully Japanese. The food is pretty good too and definitely designed for sharing. We enjoyed everything save for the karage which was unfortunately more on the dessicated end of the scale. Worth noting is their collection of saki and shochu. I don’t drink, but my friend who is an avid lover of saki was pleasantly surprised by their range. Not a place to go to to get full on food – a place to go to to have snacks, drinks and good conversation. Expect to pay about $20-$30 per person.
